A journal of a millenial working & living abroad

I have been living and working in UAE, more specifically Dubai for more than a year now. This is an open journal of my life away from home. Moving to Dubai was a last minute decision for me as during that season of my life I was lost, and I didn't know what to do. I took a chance to try my luck out here, and never did I regret it!

My posts will be about my experiences here in the urban desert. How moving to another country, meeting a diversity of people from the different parts of the world widened my perspective.

For those of you - especially millenials who are lost, don't know what to do, and are too afraid to make a big change in your life. I encourage you to take a leap of faith. Take that step, and don't be afraid to fail. You don't know what's in it for you unless you try. At the end of the day, it's always about saying 'Oh well, atleast I tried', than regret not doing anything at all! You're still young, you have all the time in the world to make mistakes, and learn from it. So do what you want to do. Travel, pursue your passion, or work in another country! Experience life to the fullest.
